The discharge opening of PEW series jaw crushers can be adjusted quickly and easily. A semi-automatic wedge adjusting mechanism is used which utilizes a hydraulic device to drive the two wedges between the adjustment seat and rack back wall. This greatly reduces adjusting manually with the device being “intelligent” and very convenient allowing adjustments to be made within 2-3 minutes.
